The City of Beaverton is embarking on an update of the Development Code specific to sign regulation. Current sign regulations have not been updated for several years and do not account for the full array of signs types and technology available today. The goal of the update is to establish new regulations that reflect the needs of businesses, schools, and industry while promoting the type of signs and urban character that are consistent with community goals.
The case file number for the update is TA2016-0002 and the first public hearing to consider draft changes will be held on January 18, 2017, before the Beaverton Planning Commission at 6:30p.m., in Council Chambers of City Hall.
