Marc’s Message

Beaverton has a storied and outstanding history. We have to respect that history as we achieve our desired future for the city. We have great neighborhoods, great schools, great parks, and a great new vision for the heart of our community. As we grow, I want to see new development bring great places for living, people-friendly open spaces, high quality building design, and new employers with good jobs for our residents. At the same time, we must pay careful attention to improving transportation, to maintaining robust infrastructure, and to enhancing our important places. I also want to get more people involved with their neighborhoods, with city events and projects, and with our advisory committees.
