This chapter contains definitions for words and terms used in the Development Code. These definitions shall take precedence in any interpretation of the Development Code and the meaning of the words or terms used therein. Any word or term not defined in this section shall first be used as defined by ORS or OAR and as applicable to this Code, and secondly as defined by “Webster’s Third New International Dictionary”, copyright 1993. Copies of this dictionary are available for reference at the Community Development Department, the City Attorney’s Office and the City Main Library. Chapter updated: September 17, 2009.
