Background

Chapter 20 includes subject matters such as zoning, uses, setbacks, building height, density, floor area ratio (FAR) regulations, and use restrictions throughout the City.

Beaverton is in the process of completing a comprehensive review of this important section of the Development Code ensuring that when updated it is in compliance with the City’s Comprehensive Plan, will reflect current real estate trends, provide consistent terminology, all while improving its layout to be user-friendly. It has been over 30 years since the last major review of this Code section.
