This is an EXERCISE

Beaverton’s Emergency Operations Center

has been activated at 9:08 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4

for a Training Exercise “Seismic Slam 2008”.

If this were an actual emergency, this page would provide updated information and resources that could be useful in an actual emergency.


The Emergency Operations Center has been activated for a multi-jurisdiction Earthquake Exercise to test our EOC plans and procedures. The exercise will be conducted on June 4th and 5th.

Scenario: Earthquake along fault line in metro area.
