Comments:  The Federal Government is currently at threat level Yellow (Elevated).

There are no known threats specific to Oregon or the Pacific Northwest. Based on the current threat information and the assessment criteria developed in conjunction with the Washington County Anti-Terrorism Advisory Committee, the City is at Threat Condition Blue (Guarded). People are asked to report suspicious activities to local law enforcement.

As with any potential emergency or disaster we recommend that all citizens need to be prepared to manage on their own for a minimum of 72 hours. You should have enough food and supplies set aside in an emergency kit (PDF) to sustain you for at least 3 days.

In the event of a large scale emergency or disaster, information regarding the event and actions being taken will be posted on this site. Under some circumstances the posting of timely information may not be possible.
