We take a proactive approach to enhancing the City’s preparedness and educating the public.

Since the City’s ability to respond may be limited during disasters, citizens need to be prepared to manage on their own for a minimum of 3 days, including additional supplies of food and water.

Everyone needs to be aware of the potential hazards that may effect them and be prepared to respond when they occur. The hazards that may affect the City of Beaverton include, but are not limited to, earthquakes, severe weather, flooding, hazardous materials incidents, civil unrest, and domestic terrorism.
