In 2007, the West Beaverton NAC participated in the Matching Fund Grant Program to obtain "Slow Down" signs to enhance safety in the neighborhood.
In 2005, the West Beaverton NAC designed and had printed six signs to advertise monthly NAC Meetings. The Committee applied for the Matching Fund Grant from the City and received $480 for the project.
In 2004, the West Beaverton NAC gave $1,500 in funding and members raised another $30,000 from the neighborhood to put 30 acres of Mt. Williams (a wooded lava plug) hilltop into public ownership. Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation now owns roughly 20 acres and Beaverton another 10 acres on the hill. The property is to be preserved as a significant natural resource and to provide a key segment to the "Regional Westside Trail."
In 2003, the West Beaverton NAC participated in the dedication of the 4 acre Roy Dancer Park in honor of the first West Beaverton NAC Chair. Roy rallied neighbors to preserve the land and prevent inappropriate retail encroachment into nearby residential neighborhoods. The West Beaverton NAC, Central Beaverton NAC, and Highland NAC all contributed to the attractive basalt dedication stone, bronze plaque and park bench honoring Roy Dancer. That same year the West Beaverton NAC also donated $500 to the Beaverton City Library to purchase new books.
