Winter Sanding Routes

South • North • West • Hopper • Snow Plow

Inclement weather such as ice and snowstorms are not necessarily common in Beaverton, but when they occur the City’s Street Section has a street sanding plan for major arterials and collector roadways. It consists of a list of streets to the north, south and west of the Operations Center, which is located on the east side of the City.

The list labeled "Hopper" consists of narrow and/or steep graded roadways that are sanded by a smaller piece of equipment called a hopper.

Residential streets are not sanded.
