Property Managers
We know that a property manager’s schedule can be hectic! Let City staff help you meet state requirements to educate your residents. If you are interested in re-evaluating your garbage and recycling services, this program is for you.
Oregon law, ORS 90.318c (PDF), states that you need to provide the opportunity to recycle for your tenants. In the City of Beaverton, your complex needs to provide the recycling of at least four items for all tenants desiring recycling service.
Several recycling resources are available for the property manager and residents. City staff will customize them to reflect the program at your complex. Please contact Solid Waste and Recycling staff if you are interested in receiving any of the following resources for your complex.
- Recycling Made Easier "In The Bag!" booklet (PDF); the all-inclusive tenant education booklet
- Pre-written recycling “how-to” Articles for your newsletter
- “How-to” commingled recycling magnets or decals for your recycling containers
