Mayor Denny Doyle to Dedicate Gift of More Than 1,000 Korean Books at Beaverton City Library (PDF)
On Friday, March 19, Mayor Denny Doyle will officiate a ceremony at the Beaverton City Library at 2 p.m. to dedicate more than 1,000 Korean language, cultural and educational books and publicly recognize this generous gift from Beaverton’s sister city Cheonan, South Korea. The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be served.

Beaverton’s Mayor visit to Trossingen, Germany
Beaverton’s Mayor is now recorded in the Golden Book.
"A delegation from the sister city of Beaverton got to know the traditional ‘Trossinger Morgensupp’. On the last day of their visit in Germany the eleven townspeople from the United States met with members of the Trossingen town council for this official reception."

Beaverton Sister Cities Delegation visited France and Germany
On Sunday July 19, 2009, Beaverton Mayor Denny Doyle and his wife Ann, accompanied by Beaverton Sister Cities Program Coordinator, Theresa Baird, and 11 delegates, traveled to Cluses, France for a 5 day visit, followed by a 3 day visit to Trossingen, Germany.

Beaverton and Cheonan reconfirm sister-city status
A delegation from Cheonan, South Korea visited Beaverton to celebrate the two municipalities’ 20–year anniversary as sister cities.
