Beaverton hosted Sister City delegation visits in September from the city of Cluses, France and the city of Hsinchu, Taiwan!

Gift of French Books

A celebration to dedicate a new French language and literature book collection at the Beaverton Public Library was held September 12th, 2008. The dedication was presided over by Mayor Rob Drake, with the visiting delegation from Sister City, Cluses, France, Beaverton City Council members present. The event was held in honor a gift from the City of Cluses of over 200 language, literature, travel and gourmet books to the City of Beaverton. The event was open to the public.
