Arbor Day in Beaverton
Thank you to all volunteers who attended this year’s Arbor Day celebration tree planting, with over 40 trees planted including Douglas Firs, Western Red Cedars and various native plants. This event also marked the 21st year as Tree City USA for Beaverton and we received a Sterling Growth award for the 11th year in a row from the Oregon Department of Forestry and also Tree city of the year from Oregon community trees. A big thank you goes out to Friends of trees, Rigert shade tree and PGE for helping set up for the event as well.
