Tax Assistance Program
Thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers that provided FREE Tax Preparation & Filing Assistance this year!
The City of Beaverton, in partnership with AARP Tax-Aide and CASH Oregon provided FREE tax preparation and filing assistance from Feb 1 - Apr 15.
The City of Beaverton is continually looking for ways to improve the lives of our residents, including help with your taxes.
The Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) can provide low-income, working families up to a $6,044 tax refund. Unfortunately, about 25% of those eligible for the EITC fail to file for it, resulting in the loss of millions of dollars for Oregonians.
Last year, volunteers filed a record 1,571 tax returns, resulting in over $2.6 million in refunds back into our community. Our volunteers are dedicated to once again helping you find the tax credits you are eligible for and to receive the refund you deserve.
What to Bring

- Form W-2 from every employer
- Other forms and receipts, such as 1099s from your bank

- Copies of last years' returns, if available
