2012 Living Greener Neighborhood Summit!
The 2012 Living Greener Neighborhood Summit was held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Beaverton City Library (12375 SW 5th Street) beginning at 9:00 am. Presented by the Beaverton Committee for Citizen Involvement (BCCI).
Over 1,000 people joined us to explore:
- Insightful auditorium presentations featuring:
- 10:00 am - Recycling and Waste Reduction Solutions for Your Home, Presented by Joanna Dyer, City of Beaverton Waste Reduction Program Coordinator
- 11:30 am - Clean Water and You - Tips for a Healthy Watershed & the Latest in Water Capturing Technology, Presented by Ely Teragli, Clean Water Services Public Information Officer & Scott Yelton, Portland Purple Water
*An iMac computer from EcoBinary Electronic Recyclers was raffled along with a a custom built cedar barrel water capturing system from Portland Purple Water.
