Solar on the Library

Photo of Beaverton Library with solar panels installed.
Through a federal grant, the Beaverton City Library did a series of energy efficiency retrofits to their building, including the installation of a 17.6 kW solar array on the roof. The new solar array is estimated to provide the city with over $7,000 annually from the power it produces. Using the DECK monitoring tool you can track the Library’s solar system in real time, such as the lifetime energy generated and the lifetime CO2 emissions offset.
