Web Management

Overview

The Web Management Division represents a central point for all external web assets: the City of Beaverton, Police and Library sites, partner sites, as well as internal sites.

Division responsibilities include development, maintenance and administration of all aspects of online / digital initiatives. Projects submitted by city departments are analyzed and developed to provide responsive, functional, compliant, consistent results. 

Social Media support, quality control, search engines (SEO), systems integrations, web infrastructure and security, data architecture and database connectivity, usability and accessibility audits, performance testing, web analytics are also provided by the division.

Various technical platforms and systems: SharePoint legacy and new release versions, CivicPlus suite of applications, Siteimprove, TrustedSite, ArchiveSocial, Adobe Creative Cloud.

Mission Statement

To provide a 24-hour Virtual / Digital City Hall for the residents, businesses and local agencies of Beaverton, as well as employees of the city, using interactive online applications and integrated systems.

Externally: Anyone interested in the City of Beaverton by providing access to multiple websites, online systems and applications.

Internally: City of Beaverton staff through internal sites and online applications.
