The City of Beaverton updated the Development Code specific to sign regulation. Sign regulations had not been updated for several years and did not account for the full array of signs types and technology available today. The goal of the update was to establish new regulations reflecting the needs of businesses, schools, and industry while promoting the type of signs and urban character consistent with community goals.
Update: May 9, 2017, the Beaverton City Council adopted the Planning Commission recommendation with minor amendments. New standards identified in Ordinance No. 4708 become effective on June 9, 2017.
