Cases in Collections

Collecting Outstanding Fees

The court relies on a collections agency to collect fines and fees when a defendant fails to repeatedly respond or comply with court orders to pay. If you have a case in collections, you are encouraged to work with the collection agency to either pay the fines and fees in full or get set up on a payment plan. The collection agency can also clear your license suspension. The collections agency is Alliance One and can be contacted at 1-800-456-8838.

If a Defendant wishes to request the court to take action on a case in collections, you must submit your request to the court in writing. Instructions and a template are available if you choose this option.
