About Beaverton's Civic Plan

The Civic Plan serves as an implementation tool to achieve the Beaverton Community Vision. The plan identifies actions the city can take to revitalize downtown, grow the economy, ensure diversity of housing stock and expand transportation options.

Community members working in groups to fine tune the civic plan.The Civic Plan kicked off in 2010 with a series of public engagement events. Based on community input and technical analysis, the city developed three strategies: Central City, Land Use & Transportation, and Housing.  The city council unanimously adopted the Civic Plan Strategies on April 12, 2011 (Resolution No. 4067).
