Beaverton Arts Foundation Awards Students Scholarships for Outstanding Performing and Visual Arts

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Beaverton Arts Foundation has awarded 13 scholarships to students in the Beaverton area for outstanding performing or visual arts by the Beaverton Arts Foundation. These scholarships were established through the collaboration of community partners, including Southminster Presbyterian Church’s Celebration of Creativity and the Beaverton Arts Foundation, to recognize talented young artists in the community. The scholarship awards will be presented before City Council on June 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 12725 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, OR 97005.

Students currently enrolled in Beaverton School District or Portland Community College are eligible for this annual award, which has helped over 100 high school and college-aged artists pursue their passions. For more information on Beaverton Arts Foundation Student Scholarships, please visit
