Beaverton City Library Hosts Free Spring Break Events for Kids and Teens

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Get ready for more than a week of free events for kids and teens at the main library (12375 SW 5th St) and the Murray Scholls branch (11200 SW Murray Scholls Place, Suite 102) during Spring Break, March 22-31.

This year’s theme for kids is “Magic and Myths,” featuring crafts, games and activities. Kids can complete enchanted engineering challenges, join Penny’s Puppets for the original mini musical “Dream, Sparkle, Shine!” and celebrate fairies, dragons and unicorns. The library will host exciting programs for teens, including Waffle Battle, Marvel vs. DC, and DIY Harry Potter Wands, along with a Practice ACT Test.

Registration is required for some events. Patrons can register for events by visiting www.BeavertonLibrary.org/Register or calling 503-350-3600 (events at the main library) or 503-644-2197, option 6 (events at Murray Scholls).
