Ore. – The Neighbors Southwest Helicopter Egg Drop on Sunday, April 14 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. will now occur at Paul and Verna Winkelman Park located at 10139 SW 175th Avenue.
for the event will remain at Scholls Heights Elementary School located at 16400
SW Loon Drive (the original event location) with shuttle bus service to the
event. Onsite parking at Winkelman Park will not be available during the event,
except for ADA parking.
The eggs will begin to drop from the helicopter at approximately 2:15 p.m. The event will happen rain or shine; attendees should be dressed and prepared for wet conditions.

Bring your family and friends for this fun springtime event featuring a helicopter that will drop plastic eggs filled with goodies from the sky onto a field for kids to collect. This is a free community event. Everyone is welcome.
The Helicopter Egg Drop is hosted by the Neighbors Southwest NAC (Neighborhood Association Committee) and is sponsored in part by the city’s Neighborhood Matching Grant Program. The Neighborhood Matching Grant Program supports efforts to improve and enhance community spaces and cultivates opportunities for neighbors to host community-building events or improvements. Successful past projects include theatre and concerts in the park, reading programs and book drives, tree plantings, neighborhood welcome signs, and more.
