Ore. – Have
fun at the library and help your child get ready for school! In “Ready, Set,
Kindergarten,” a special six-session series at Beaverton City Library Main
(12375 SW 5th St) and the Murray Scholls branch (11200 SW Murray Scholls Pl.), parents and their children ages 4-5 will enjoy stories and activities designed to encourage the development of early learning practices. Parents will learn how to get their child ready for kindergarten with music, stories, art and play. Families will receive one free book per child.
series occurs at the main library on Mondays, April 29 through June 3 from 11
a.m. to noon (except May 27; this session will take place on Sunday, May 26
from 12 to 1 p.m.); Tuesdays, April 30 through June 4 from 5 to 6 p.m.; and
Saturdays, May 4 through June 8 from 3 to 4 p.m.
Murray Scholls branch, the series occurs on Sundays, April 28 through June 2
from 2 to 3 p.m. and Thursdays, May 2 through June 6 from 1 to 2 p.m.
