Beaverton Celebration Parade

  1. Parade application deadline is Friday, August 7, 2020, 5 pm.

    Each entry application will be reviewed for parade theme conformity, interest to parade attendees of all ages, etc. In consideration of the acceptance of the entry form, the entrant agrees to read and sign the waiver and release form and the adult / child photo release form and hold sponsors harmless from liabilities arising out of its participation in the Beaverton’s Celebration Parade and related activities.

    Applicants will be notified of their acceptance within 1 — 2 weeks of submitting their application. Please make sure that all of your contact information is correctly listed in your application. This is important because this is who we will communicate with throughout the planning process.

  2. Parade Theme

    This year's parade theme is There's a Fungus Among Us, which encourages Beaverton to recognize existing heroes and become heroes themselves by taking action in their community. Organizations are encouraged to get creative with this theme. Here are some possible ideas:

    • Dressing like your favorite super heroes from the movies/comics
    • Add capes and masks to your group's existing uniforms
    • Create a brand new super hero to represent what your organization does
    • Highlight one of the heroes in your community that's gone above and beyond

  3. Submission of entry form does not assure acceptance. Event staff reserve the right to refuse entry.

    All fields are required, unless otherwise specified.

    Note: Please provide a valid email and phone number for the main contact person for your group.

    Note: Judged entries must arrive at the staging lot located at Beaverton Christian Church (13600 SW Allen Blvd) by 8:00 am for judging. 1st place prize for each category!

  11. Important: Please do not turn on loud sirens or horns for entries with vehicles.

  12. Important

    The waiver and release form and the adult/photo release form must be physically signed and sent by mail, scanned and emailed or hand delivered to complete the application. Three ways to submit the waiver / release and adult / child photo release forms:

  13. Entry form must be received on or before the deadline of Friday, August 7, 2020 by 5 pm.
    The waiver and release form and the adult/child photo release form can be signed and sent with the application or submitted the morning of the parade during staging.
